AirWare is a project that aims to make data and information about air quality more accessible and user-friendly. Through a DIY-kit based on existing technology and an app, the idea is to give people tools for understanding air quality and how to act and think about air pollution. The DIY-kit consists of a hardware device that monitors the air quality. The device is made up of a number of components that can easily be assembled at home and could then be placed on, for example, a bicycle or a bag.
The app will provide further functions such as tools for people to track and reduce their carbon emissions.
