out of breath

air is invisible, yet we breathe it in every day
Unfortunately, the air is becoming more and more visible due to the dust floating in it, reducing our visibility. The air we breathe now is not just oxygen, but also contains fine dust, carbon, and other impurities that we can't even imagine. It is important to be aware of the air we breathe every day.
After many attempts, trials, and errors in experimenting with infrastructure, traffic, and senses, we've simplified the relationship between humans and air into one small activity. Our recipe invites you and your friends (or more!) to add some coloured liquid onto used paper, and blow with full force to create various patterns. What's interesting is that each pattern will be unique and impossible to replicate! We use fluid as a medium to convey our poetic perception of air, which is intangible yet rich in textures, forms, and shapes. At the end, we question how different this out-of-breath experiment would be if clean air were out-of-reach, and how different people will react to air pollution.

ingredients
used paper / a friend / any coloured liquid in your area
protocol
Invite your friend to join in!
Each of you put 2-3 drops of ink on a piece of paper.
Blow air onto the liquid to create splashes and patterns.
Continue to blow with all your power until it fully dries.
Whoever dries faster wins! Observe the diverse patterns of air.
