The project involves equipping volunteers with simple, low-cost pollution sensors that can measure various air quality indicators such as carbon monoxide and particulate matter. The volunteers, riding bikes equipped with these sensors, will traverse the temporary bike-only roads and lanes to collect air quality data.

The project's primary objective is to raise public awareness of air quality and its impact on health. As well as making people familiar and comfortable with biking in their local cities. This would also show government officials the level of local interest for such overhauls in their infrastructure, as well as the direct benefits of doing so at a larger scale.

We aim to empower the average citizen to take action to improve the air quality in their community by giving them the means to visualise the air around them through an easy, hands on, and fun experience. The repurposed bike roads would provide a unique opportunity to experience one's respective city from a different perspective, promote biking as a healthy and eco-friendly mode of transportation, and collect valuable data for both the public and the government.
