Every day as we walk in the street, we pass by countless strangers, each of whom has a different story. We observed these people and the colors that they wear: some of them were dark colors, some of them were neutral tones and others very bright. What happens ,consciously or unconsciously, when we decide what color clothes we decide to wear, is that we make a statement: wearing a neutral color to blend in, a bright yellow to stand out, or that trendy color to fit it a certain group. Or maybe I decided to wear gray because it’s rainy outside and I’m feeling down? Colors carry emotions, the textiles wear become a silent language expressing who we are and how we feel in that moment. Our video aims to explore how colors tell a story, how textiles can reveal a lot about who’s wearing it. By doing something as simple as observing, we uncover the connection between what we wear and who we are.
