This continuation project develops a neighbourhood campaign into a radical gardening space in urban spaces. Having a feasibility action, include functional and playful methods for people. The implementation link to public utilities. For example, lamp posts, signboards, bus stops, and traffic lights. The reason for using public utilities is the usage of wayfinding. If the containers with food, water, and seeds bag located on the signboard, it gives people a connection with plant and animal likes birds-feeding.

ECO-LEGO HAND is a continuing campaign that reuses the food waste as fertilizer and collects the rainwater for the plant. Additionally, as a plant, water and seeds station that implements public utilities. The core goal is to build the responsibilities of the public on protecting nature through the planting process.How we make the public from low interest to highly engage! We create a lego shape hand that reuses waste as a pipe or tyre for looking interesting. Then, it would place on any lamp post or traffic light in the cities. When the rain comes, it saves the water for the birds. The plan is to have three lego hands with one lamp post: water, plants and seed bags.

For the scenario, Lily is waiting for the traffic light, she saw there are three colourful lego hands “holding’’ the traffic light. There are three words on the hands: feed me, plant me, and green now. She takes the seeds bag and become the green hand.

This ECO-LEGO HAND become a interaction spots in the city. In addition, more eco lego hand in the city with water could reduce the heat of the city as a cooling effect. This is because water reduces the local temperature through the process of evaporation, which transports the heat out of the city. They can beautify a previously unremarkable space, and boost the local economy by promoting tourism.

ECO-LEGO HAND have different plant choices with seed bags. A well-designed Eco Lego Hand adds freshness to any public space. Then, ECO-LEGO HAND address non-trivial issues that connect participants in different parts of the world through a concern for planetary health. This project has a design-led focus on developing actionable strategies for a beneficial, sustainable, holistic relationship with the earth, its diverse peoples, its flora and fauna.
