Survival of the Invisible and Visible tackle the contrast and contradictions of sound collected through recordings sourced from The Streets — how much they differ, clash and shift into one another. Audio data collected from three geographical locations — Australia, Vietnam and Barcelona highlight the amount of disruptions in everyday life, how peace and tranquility is increasingly harder to come by.
Tackling the dominance of sound within The Streets and the fleeting presence of silence in between, this one-minute video visualizes the fight for survival—of the heard and unheard. Noise and quiet, the seen and unseen, refuse to settle into stillness. They crash, weave, and unravel, neither fully winning nor vanishing. In the end, the invisible and visible do not simply battle—they intertwine, co-existing in a restless dance of contrast and harmony.
