"The Unnoticed Patterns" explores how home is shaped through the subtle patterns we leave behind. Memories, sounds, materials, routines and everyday experiences accumulate over time, forming the invisible systems that influence how we inhabit and understand our environments. Often overlooked, these ordinary encounters continue to shape both our identities and the spaces around us.
Each member of our team developed a personal visual language drawn from their own experiences, memories and observations. Individually, these patterns reflect different identities and ways of inhabiting the world. Together, they reveal the contested notion of ‘home’ as an evolving ecology, co-produced through relationships between people, materials, weather, architecture, culture and time.
Rather than asking where home is, the project asks what remains after we pass through. It invites us to notice the unnoticed, and to imagine space not as a passive backdrop, but as something that records, reshapes and remembers alongside us.
