Mycelium Inc.



Mycelium Inc. is a first-person horror-grand strategy game where players control a sentient mycelium network, born from human negligence, to reshape a post-apocalyptic Earth. The game offers multiple endings: peaceful coexistence, violent domination, human genocide, or transhumanist fusion. Players employ stealth, assimilation, and mutations to spread the mycelium, facing resistance from both humans and nature.


The narrative emphasises environmentalism, educating players on mycelium's ecological role and the impact of human exploitation. Players navigate moral dilemmas, resource management, and strategic decisions, all aimed at establishing mycelium dominance. The storyline delves into societal issues, long-standing historical conflicts, human-nature interconnectedness, and potential radical ecological responses that could spark revolution. Mycelium Inc. challenges players to consider the broader implications of their action-reaction, blending elements of transhumanism, humanity, and environmental education into a unique and engaging gameplay experience. The game's gruesome, post-apocalyptic aesthetic further reinforces its horror elements.
