while exploring the green spaces near our neighborhood, we noticed a significant presence of bees buzzing around. Unlike some creatures, bees leave minimal trace of their flight paths due to their small size. tracking a single bee throughout its entire journey proves quite challenging, sparking our curiosity about their travel patterns and pollination processes.

taking inspiration from the complex structure of mycelium, the concept of the 'nectar thread' involves developing a miniature device that attaches to a bee's tail. this device deposits a disposable, colorful thread on flowers or plants each time the bee lands. subsequently, we can locate and mark all these indicators on a designated map of the area. it's also essential to gather comprehensive data on the pollination process, including types of flowers, their colors, planting locations, specific scents, and more.

through this interactive approach, users can gain insights into bee behaviors and appreciate their vital role in the environment. it aims to highlight the importance of bees and encourage a deeper connection with nature, making exploration enjoyable and educational.
